    I hate most movies, but every now and then one comes along that I have to see at the theater. This is one of them. I found out about the book when it was reissued and then reviewed in David Snow's Iron Horse magazine. Love the book, so I've started down this rabbit hole of reviews, trying to see if they ruined it by 'Hollywoodizing" it to compete with all of the Spiderman, Batman, Fast and Furious movies. That and Sons of Anarchy. The more I find out about it, the better it looks. Danny Lyon being involved, etc. Definitely seeing it in the theater soon

    Dude, you can’t be serious You don’t know who Hardy is ; do you own a TV? maybe not a good idea to give reviews if you don’t know who actors are. Doesn’t come across so 🤭

    • @user-yu5yo6fe6p
      @user-yu5yo6fe6p 2 години тому

      Who cares about the names of the actors and what they've been in? You don't have to know who the actors are to recognize a good performance. That being said, this guy's reviewing the previews not the actual movie. There are so many reviews of the previews, not just by this guy but a lot of others who haven't actually seen the movie.

      As far as biker movies, this will be one of the very best. They're also coming out with a "Bikeriders II". Basically it's a true documentary with a storyline added with some drama. It's far more accurate than other biker movies.

    Outlaw Biker and Nostalgia Cycle were good magazines in the early 80’s. I feel like the best biker years ended after 84 (the last year of the Shovelhead).

    I’m 63 and hadn’t been to a movie in years. I bought and read the book. There’s audio recordings of actual people made in 1965-6. Jodi Comer sounds exactly like the real Kathy. I went to see the movie this past weekend. Most of the dialog in the movie is directly from the interviews in the book. GREAT movie. I’ll go see it again. Your review is very good and accurate.

    Hey you don't seem to know shit about the Comando 273.. you blew right through that description like they were all the same. ("That's what they called them back then") (Bulls%#*)The Comando 273 was few and far between, having a high compression engine, running duel points, with hurst linkage, and a Muncie transmission. I had one and it was the most powerful, smallest engine I've ever had! I could burn rubber indefinitely in first gear, and my power gear was second gear. When racing I could go from 25mph to 75 before shifting! What a car!

    Hi thanks for all the helpful info, I have 1986- early Sportster, 1200 conv, andrews cams and buel heads!, my final drive is 23 /47, recently broke second gear in transmission, I believe it was due to a miss shift. Is 23/47 too much for second gear ?? Thanks for your help.

      Ok thanks very much, because I have the wider ratio, the 17 tooth clutch gear, it seems to lug a bit from 3rd to 4th, but if I keep the rpm’s up then it’s ok, Mybe I should try the 48 tooth on the back.

    • @syyenergy7
      @syyenergy7 8 днів тому

      @@JesseSpetko-gp5xh Try the 48 tooth. That won't be a big radical change from the 47. A 23 /48 is still great for the highway.

    Does the ASD relay cut off the fuel or spark? I did a tune up on my car and now it wont start it only cranks. We have spark and you can smell the fuel. We also put on a new throttle position sensor on. Prior to this the car was not idling where it should have been and had intermittent problems with missing after it warmed up . Any info will help. Thank you!

    • @syyenergy7
      @syyenergy7 13 днів тому

      It's easy to test a relay, but they're also cheap at about $5. I'd check all the wiring. It's also good to replug in everything. Sometimes it's a poor connection.

    The good news is, your loss can be reimbursed. You can create lifetime injuries and teach lessons that last a lifetime with a cheap hammer from Amazon or even a small one from Harbor Freight, or even the lowest rated ammo in order to let them know how much that hammer meant to you. They'll have loads of time to wonder if it was worth.

    I have a 1997 Chrysler Sebring JXI Convertible. V-6. I pulled fuse #5. At least the car started! The back window was smashed out. The car kept flooding over 6" deep! I guessed the Power Amplifier under the passenger seat (fuse #5) along with 12 other electrical items that run through fuse #5, might be the Parasitic Short. I pulled out the Kenwood after-market radio, & disconnected that Power Amp from Chrysler UNDER the passenger seat. Still have parasitic short(s). If I did your test, and bridged the ampmeter between the neg bat wire, and the neg bat post, I could pull fuses to see what is drawing from the bat while parked. Everything off. When I find the fuse that drops the Ampmeter to less that 50 ma, what can I do about it? I live in an apt. I can't take the car all apart where I am. And the local Mechanic runs $190/hr! Should I junk the car? Thanks for your time!

    • @syyenergy7
      @syyenergy7 18 днів тому

      50ma draw is ok, because it has a security system and radio. For the water leaking in, drill a small 1/8 inch hole in the trunk FLOOR. That will drain the water. Use some good rusty metal primer to protect everything. You could still use the car. Maybe you might need to pull a fuse when it sits. Not a big deal.

    Interesting, I'm pleased I found this video. I have an 86 413 chassi with engine box and axles etc.which I'm trying to start. There's no ECM or anything like that and no wiring so just trying to figure stuff out. The plan is, if it runs, I also have a 1950's Jeep tub and fenders, well it's actually a French Hotchkiss M201 tub which was based on the WWII Willy/GPW. Anyway this will go on the Suzuki frame if all is well. These have an almost identical wheelbase and track as the wartime Willys/GPW.s.
